Find Out More About The Suffolk-Based Photographer
I am a young photographer and content creator based in Ipswich, Suffolk.
I run an Instagram account called Sophsinfocus where I have over 4,000 followers. I use my Instagram to showcase my photography as well as creating reels where I share photography ideas and suggestions.
My genre is nature photo such as landscapes of the Suffolk countryside. I also take macro, abstract and portraits, such as my photo of Wendy Guevara, Ipswich singer and songwriter.
Im currently at university and doing freelance photography on the side but it does integrate with my studies. I do also take bookings which you can find out more on my site.

I have experience in running my own social media on various platforms in which I have a huge passion for! I am currently doing a few courses to further broaden my knowledge in the skills I already have. I have started up sophsinsocials to help other businesses!

In addition, I have taken photography at events such as the Beach Street Felixstowe opening weekend and The Suffolk Show.

When did you start photography?
I started in the summer of 2016.
Where are you from?
I'm from Suffolk in the UK.
What equipment do you use for photos?
I use my Sony a6000x but I occasionally use a Canon 600D camera and iPhone XR too.
What do you use to film/edit your IGTV videos?
I use my iPhone XR to film and to edit I use iMovie, video shop and Phonto.
What is your dream job?
I want to have a job in the photography industry, either as a freelancer or working for an agency. I would also like doing photography for a business’s social media.
Who are your inspirations?
I look up to Brandon Woelfel the most, along with my followers.
What types of photography do you do?
I do a mixture of different styles. My focus isn't on one specific type. I do landscape, nature, product, events and portraits
What props do you use for your photos?
I use a wide range of different props with my photos. I use string lights, magazines, fashion accessories and lens ball.
Do you have a job?
Not currently I mainly work for myself as I do freelance photography.
